Manchester United may have a marque signing next season, after Colombia and Real Madrid superstar, James Rodriguez chose them over his other suitors.
Spanish media outlets are claiming that the attacker is desperate to play for Jose Mourinho.
Rodriguez was the star of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, his performances in that tournament earned him a £63 million move to Real Madrid, but he has failed to live up to the hype that surrounded his move.
He has so far played only 17 times this season, as Zinedine Zidane prefers other players in his position. The Colombian is said to be very unhappy with this and wants a move away from the Bernabeu this summer.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are among the English teams who had hoped that they could sign the player when he decides to leave the Bernabeu, but the player has disappointed them by choosing Manchester United.
It is believed that his move will cost the Red Devils about £50 million and Rodriguez will earn around £220,000 per week at Old Trafford.
