Man Utd are monitoring the situation at Paris St Germain regarding Edinson Cavani, according the the latest reports.
Cavani has yet to sign a new contract with the French giants and United are waiting patiently in the event that the player does not sign an extension.
The Uruguay international, has been offered a new contract by PSG, but is apparently yet to sign.
The 29 year old has been monitored by United and Chelsea over the last 18 months, however it is the Red Devils that are seen as the most keen.
Cavani has already knocked in 14 goals from 14 games this season and is on course to beat his previous French Ligue 1 record of 19 goals.
Cavani has been in talks with PSG for some tome now, but apparently is not sure whether he wants to remain with the French champions.
The striker is viewed as a potential long term replacement for current United hit man Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
One thing is for sure, Cavani will not come cheap, but that has not put United off before and is unlikely to do so again.
