Manchester United are targeting the signing of at least three major superstars this summer, as they look to challenge for domestic and continental crowns.
The Red Devils are set to conquer Europe again under Jose Mourinho after they booked their place in the Champions League group stage.
The Portuguese manager has told journalists that he has dropped a list of the players he wants with club chairman, Ed Woodward, and expect to get them as soon as he resumes for preseason. It is believed that his targets are Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic, PSG’s Blaise Matuidi, and Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann.
Their pursuit of these key players has received a major boost after it emerged that Matuidi could be set to leave Paris.
When questioned by journalists about his future in Paris, the Frenchman honestly responded that nothing was certain yet. Despite admitting that he would love to stay, he still maintained that a move away may be on the cards for him.
Matuidi who would be entering the final year of his contract next season, and has not been offered a new deal yet, is seen as a player who could help Paul Pogba express himself better in midfield.
