Man Utd are very close to completing the signing Oliveirense striker Bruno Amorim, according to the latest reports in the media.
ESPN FC is citing a source that claims a deal is “90 percent done” and that the 19-year-old “could have a great contract in front of him.”
The youngster will join United’s Academy squad under the tutelage of Nicky Butt and join the likes of Largie Ramazani and Aliou Badara Traore who were also brought in this summer.
Amorin has been hailed as one of the best youngsters in Portuguese football and has been impressing United scouts on a regular basis.
United are clearly taking a two pronged approach to their player recruitment, on one hand, they are spending tens of millions on the likes of Romaleu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic and on the other hand they are strengthening their youth base.
The only question is, will Jose Mourinho ever give the youngsters a chance to shine, it is not like he has a record of doing that.
