Real Madrid are set to reignite their interest in Manchester United’s first choice goal keeper, David De Gea. The Spaniards had informed the Red Devils a few weeks back that they have ended all their pursuit of the Spain number one, however, after failing to land AC Milan young goalkeeper, they are set to launch another offensive.
But this time the Red Devils are ready to make their own demand.
The British media are reporting that the Red Devils are set to ask for Toni Kroos plus cash in exchange for De Gea.
Jose Mourinho is looking to sign a new midfielder and has been frustrated in his effort to sign any of Nemanja Matic, Eric Dier, and Fabinho as their clubs continue to insist they are not for sale.
Kroos is considered the linchpin of the Real Madrid midfield and remains an important part of Zinedine Zidane’s plans. The Red Devils hope that this demand would drive the Los Blancos away from De Gea’s path.
Manchester United have offered second choice Sergio Romero a new long term which could also mean they are ready to allow De Gea leave under the right condition.
