Manchester United did not need to sign striker Radamel Falcao, according to Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim.
Falcao moved to Old Trafford from the Ligue 1 side on the final day of last summer’s window, but Jardim has questioned the decision to bring the Colombian to the Premier League.
“I don’t know if he made a mistake to join United,” he told The Sun.
“In the last days of August he I was thinking he would leave – but I thought he’d go to another club. Maybe they didn’t need him. It’s my opinion but not my decision to make.”
