Manchester City make second improved offer to tempt Arsenal

Just when Arsenal fans thought it would not get worse following the sale of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain to Liverpool, it appears as though they may lose another star to a Premier League rival.

Manchester City has reportedly returned for Alexis Sanchez with an offer believed to be worth 60 million.

The Gunners rejected a 50 million offer yesterday and asked for Raheem Sterling to be used as a sweetener in the deal. But Manchester City wants an all cash deal as Sterling is now one of their most important players for them.

Sanchez has just one year left on his current deal with the Gunners and has clearly informed them that he wants to leave and play in the Champions League this season.

Manchester City is confident that they can sign him before the transfer window shuts tonight as it would be foolish of Arsenal to miss out on a windfall and lose the Chilean for nothing next summer.
