Manchester United and Arsenal both weighing up a raid on Napoli
The Agent of Napoli full back Elseid Hysaj, has said that Arsenal and Manchester United are scouting his clients. The Albanian defender has been in fine form for Napoli and can play at both left and right full back positions.
Arsenal are in the market for a new full back and are interested in Hysaj, to either replace Kieran Gibbs or Nacho Monreal or provide competition for the duo. Gibbs have been used less often by the Gunners this season, as a combination of injuries and poor form has limited his contribution to the Gunners so far this season.
Monreal on the other hand has been heavily criticised for his performance as the Gunner’s defence have failed to hold firm against oppositions this season. It is believe that Arsenal would try to get a new full back as they overhaul their squad this summer.
Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has heavily criticised Luke Shaw this season, and even suggesting the player is not focused on his footballing career.
Despite reports that Shaw is ready to fight for his place, it is believed that Mourinho has given up on him, though there was a glimpse of better things today between the player and the manager.
Elseid Hysaj agent has however admitted that if any club meets his agents release clause, he might be on the move.
