Celtic left back Kieran Tierney is not interested in all the rumours surrounding his future at the club.
The young Scottish defender claims he is currently focused on helping Celtic and becoming a better player.
Tierney has been one of the most important players in Celtic’s all conquering squad this season as the romped to another Scottish league title under former Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers.
Tierney admitted that he had been reading news about rumours of his impending move away from Celtic Park, but claims he is currently only focused on developing his game. According to him, all he has in his mind now is to become a better player and that is why he spends a lot of time on the training ground when everyone else leaves to develop his weaker foot and other areas of his game.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has identified Tierney as the long term solution to the Red Devil’s left back problems. The Portuguese manager has become frustrated by Luke Shaw’s constant struggles with injuries and want to sign Tierney to effectively take up the English man’s spot.
