Manchester United no longer interested in signing superstar

Jose Mourinho is not shy when it comes to spending huge money for big-name stars but there is one superstar he will not be signing at any time.

Reports out of Spain are claiming that United will not be signing their former ace Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is no longer the player he was, his form this season has dropped significantly, he has managed just four goals in La Liga and age appears to be catching up with the 32-year-old.

United have decided that Alexis Sanchez is the better long-term option and with the likes of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku also in the mix, there is simply no room for Portuguese star.

Once the signing of Sanchez is completed that will be it in terms of forwards for the club and not just this January but also next summer as well.

United will be focussing on defence and midfield from now on and with Sanchez also set to take the number 7 shirt it basically closes the door permanently on a Ronaldo return.
