Despite the transfer window not currently open, several teams have begun to plan for their next signings. With Arsenal coming from a very poor transfer window it seems as though they have still not seen the worst. Reports this morning is claiming that they might lose all of their stars currently in the last year of their contracts.
The Gunners lost Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool last month with the Englishman one of at least three players who were in the final year of their contracts. Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are also in that group of stars.
Sensational reports from online media are claiming that Manchester United could swoop on Ozil. Although he was close to extending his deal after preseason, he seems to have changed his mind following the Gunners’ failure to sign quality reinforcements.
Jose Mourinho enjoyed working with the German during their time together at Real Madrid and he is understood to be willing to work with him again. The Red Devils will try to sign him in January and if they fail, they will make a pre-contract agreement with him that would see him join them next summer.
