Manchester United are planning a take-it-or-leave-it final offer for Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier. The Red Devils have been locked down in negotiation with Spurs all summer which is expected as Tottenham’s owner Daniel Levy is one of the most complicated business men to do transfer business with.
The Lilywhites have continued to insist that Dier is not for sale at any price, and have the upper hand in negotiations as they tied the midfielder down to a new five years deal last summer.
Dier is one of the most impressive and versatile midfielders in England right now, and he is believed to be looking for a move away as he continues to be played out of position. The England midfielder favours the Central midfield role, but he has been unable to displace the impressive Victor Wanyama for that position in Tottenham.
Mauricio Pochettino wants Dier to stay after losing Kyle Walker, as the England man is also adept at playing in the right back position.
According to Mirror Sport, the Red Devils are prepared to make a final £60 million bid before moving on to other targets.
Manchester United have promised to pay him double his current £70,000 per week as well as give him the Central midfield position he craves.
