Reports from France are claiming that Manchester United are ready to trigger the release clause of PSG Brazilian youngster, Marquinhos. Per the source, the Red Devils have been tracking the defender and Jose Mourinho is ready to make a move for him this summer.
The 22 years old has spent the last four years in Paris and has gradually built his reputation as one the best young defenders in Europe.
PSG are unwilling to sanction a move away for the player, as they see him as one of the most important players in their team right now. The Brazilian however has not committed his future, and those close to him claim that he is keeping his options open.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is worried about the persistent injuries to his defenders and believes it may be a result of their age. He sees Marquinhos as a player that can serve the club for a long time.
The Red Devils are willing to offer him a salary worth around £8 million per season, and they wILL test PSG’s resolve with a £59 million bid, which should trigger his release clause.
