Manchester United to spend £125 Million for these La Liga stars
Reports coming from Spain indicates that Manchester united are now planning to sign two Atletico Madrid players.
United have been linked with Atletico forward Antoine Griezmann, with a £85 Million move is said to be on the cards. But, United have added his team mate, Jan Oblak to their summer shopping list.
Oblak is one of the most consistent performers in the world and his team mate and fellow United target Griezmann, believes he is the best goal keeper in the world.
The Slovenian conceded only 18 goals last season, a record equalling feat which has made his stock rise, he is reportedly now rated at £40 Million.
David De Gea’s future at Manchester United is still unclear, and it appears the Spaniard will ask for a move to Real Madrid again this summer.
United want Oblak, 24 to replace the Spaniard. Jose Mourinho believes he is more than capable of filling in for De Gea.
According to the reports from Spain, United are ready to spend the combined £125 Million that would activate each player’s release clause.
But a lot depends on if United will qualify for the Champions League or not, because Griezmann is said to be unwilling to join a team that is not in the Champions League.
