Manchester United has been scouting for a replacement for the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and may have finally found their target.
Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals for United this season, but suffered a career-threatening injury, and is set to miss at least nine months. His current deal expires at the end of the season, and the Red Devils are yet to agree on a new one-year extension with the Swede. It is now likely that United will look to replace him instead.
Online gossip is claiming that the Red Devils have identified Borussia Dortmund’s striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the striker they need to lead them back into their glory days.
Aubameyang is one of the leading strikers in Europe right now, he has already plundered 37 goals for Dortmund this season and looks set to lead them to German Club glory.
United’s lack of goals has been the highlight of their season, as they have managed to score just over 50 goals this term.
Along with Ibrahimovic, the Red Devils may sell Wayne Rooney, and Anthony Martial is set to continue playing from the Wing.
Aubameyang is also wanted by PSG, Real Madrid and Liverpool.
