Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has announced Victor Moses will be staying at the club this summer.
Tottenham have reportedly submitted an £8m bid for Nigeria international Moses but Stoke boss Mark Hughes last week indicated he was staying with the Premier League champions.
And after Chelsea’s 4-2 friendly defeat against New York Red Bulls, Mourinho confirmed he is keen to take a closer look at Moses.
“I see him fitting in,” the Blues boss said on the Sky Sports website.
“He’s strong, he’s experienced, he knows the Premier League well, he’s fast, he’s aggressive.
“Okay, he has to play with us. But I’m happy with his week, with his 45 minutes and the next match (against Paris Saint Germain) he will have 45 more minutes.
“Victor has had an evolution in the last couple of years.”
