Real Madrid is said to be interested in signing one of Liverpool’s best players and it is not Phillipe Coutinho.
According to Egypt head coach Hector Cuper, the Spanish giants have their eyes on Mohamed Salah.
Salah has been in scintillating form for the Reds this season and the Egyptian international now finds himself on the radar of the European champions.
If this rumour is anywhere near being truthful that is not good news for Jurgen Klopp, who already has his hands full fending off Barcelona’s interest in Salah’s teammate Coutinho.
Salah has already scored 17 goals in 21 appearances for Liverpool which has helped them propel up to fourth in the Premier League and on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League group stages.
If Madrid is serious they had better dig really deep because Salah signed a five-year deal when he signed from Roma in June and will not come cheap and even then there is no guarantee they will sell.
Liverpool has already shown how stubborn they can be with Barcelona and their pursuit of Coutinho and they have also shown that they will not succumb to player power.
It is unlikely that this particular rumour is going anywhere, but with Real Madrid who knows.
