Gael Kakuta has officially sealed his switch to Sevilla from Chelsea.
The Frenchman joined the Blues from Lens in 2007 but made just six senior appearances.
The 23-year-old signed a new five-year-deal in 2010 before taking in loan spells at Fulham, Bolton, Dijon, Vitesse, Lazio and Rayo Vallecano.
But with his contract expiring this summer, Kakuta has been allowed to join Sevilla after Chelsea confirmed terms had been agreed.
A statement on the club’s website read: “We have today reached an agreement with Sevilla for the permanent transfer of Gael Kakuta.
“We thank Gael for his service and wish him sell for the future.”
