Chelsea have released a statement backing under fire boss Jose Mourinho.
The Special One, 52, has come under immense pressure following the Blues’ poor start to the 2015-16 season.
The west Londoners’ poor form has prompted reports suggesting the Chelsea hierarachy are preparing to axe the Portuguese.
However, he have played down those reports.
“The club wants to make it clear that Jose continues to have our full support,” the statement read on the Sky Sports website
“As Jose has said himself, results have not been good enough and the team’s performances must improve.
“However, we believe that we have the right manager to turn this season around and that he has the squad with which to do it.”
