Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has played down suggestions he could leave Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid.
The Belgian, who spent three years on loan at Atletico Madrid, has excelled during his first season as Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper since returning to west London last summer.
His displays this term have prompted speculation that Madrid could look to sign him as a long-term replacement for Iker Casillas.
However, the big stopper has responded by stating that he is happy at Stamford Bridge.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “I have signed a contract for four years. I am well here.”
