After failing to get his dream move away from Chelsea this summer, Diego Costa is seriously reconsidering his stance and may be making a return to the London club.
The Brazilian has been training alone in Brazil all summer after Antonio Conte told him via text that he was surplus to requirements.
He had hoped to seal a deadline day move back to Atletico Madrid, but the Blues resisted the temptation to allow their star man leave on a cut price deal, and his only option now is to return to training with the Blues ahead of the January transfer window.
Reports in Spain last night claimed Costa is back in London to rejoin the Blues, which appears to be false information after Costa insisted he would not return to the club as he would be forced to train with the Under 23s.
However, Standard Sports is reporting that the Brazilian has been persuaded by his Spanish team mates to return just to keep himself competitively ready ahead of the World Cup next year.
