Blues legend Didier Drogba is set for a new contract with Chelsea, according to the Daily Star website.
Drogba has scored only three league goals since rejoining on a one-year contract last July, but former star Paulo Ferreira hopes the Ivorian striker, now 37, gets to experience a 10th season with
Ferreira said: “I would love to see him stay for another season but I don’t know what he wants or what the club wants from him.
“Let’s see what happens at the end of the season.
“He has the motivation to keep winning and keep playing and I want to hear what happens at the end of the season.”
