Shocking reports coming from Spain indicates that Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Perez is willing to offer Arsene Wenger a job as a coach or Sporting director at the club.

Perez is a known admirer of the Frenchman and is said to have a very cordial relationship with him.

According to Spanish paper, AS, Wenger, who is unwanted by Arsenal fans, is likely to be offered the job of Real Madrid manager if Zinedine Zidane fails to win the title or if Real Madrid’s directors decides to go for a more popular manager.

AS are a reliable source of news from Spain, and this report from one of their writers indicates that Wenger may end up as coach of Real Madrid in the non too distant future.

Arsenal fans may well have had enough of Wenger, but he is still very highly regarded by almost every top club in world football and it would be very unlikely that he would be without a high profile job for too long in the event he departs the Emirates.
