Premier League boss confirms interest in getting Liverpool deal done

Manchester City have expressed an interest in Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

The veteran midfielder comes off contract at the end of this season and is yet to discuss new terms.

And City boss Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that he would make a move if the possibility of a deal arose.

As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “I don’t ever rate players on their age. It depends on the money they cost and the number of years they can play for.

“Like Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard is a top player and he can continue at a high level for a couple more years.”

  1. Rodgers please tell the club the problems of Liverpool as the manager, see you have played 10 matches and has 14 point, when do u think Liverpoolfc will start their winning mentality since all your players re dude and cannot concentrate with good run.Stop using new players, use our old players and us two striker instead of baloteli alone.your attacking formation is so necessary if you may win any game cus the spirit of the whole team is demoralized.ginger them now even inside pitch, talk to them if they re playing rubbish,so stop ur eyes looking confusion and help matters now!!!.
