Swansea is planning to make an offer for Arsenal and England international midfielder, Jack Wilshere. The 25 years old currently has just one year left on his Arsenal deal, and the Gunners have made him available for transfer.
Wilshere would need a lot of convincing for him to move to Wales, as the midfielder is starting a new family and would love to remain in London. The Swans also face competition from West Ham who plays in London and Newcastle.
However, West Ham is only interested in a loan deal until the end of the season as they do not trust the player’s fitness. But Arsenal does not see any sense in loaning him out as he has just one year left on his current deal.
Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez is looking to add more players with Premier League experience to his team. He missed out on Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva after the Brazilian chose to join SS Lazio partly to avoid competing against Liverpool.
Wilshere also has interest from outside England as the Gunners have turned down a poor offer from Sampdoria for his signature.
