AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted to holding an interest in Chelsea star Marco van Ginkel.
Ginkels’ future at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain, despite claims from Jose Mourinho that he still has an important role to play.
The Dutchman has seen a number of class players arrive since last January and he knows that his game time will be limited.
Now Galliani has confirmed his interest in the Dutchman.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “Van Ginkel? We are confident. We have made our proposal to Chelsea and are now waiting on an answer. We hope we can get him.”
