Manchester United have been handed a transfer boost in the race for Alexandre Lacazette, according to the Metro.
The French international striker has had a magnificent season in Ligue 1, scoring 27 goals in 31 appearances, and is now being chased by a whole host of top clubs around Europe.
However, there was talk that it was PSG who were set to seal a deal and nail down his signature.
But Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas stated that the French giants couldn’t afford him.
As quoted on the Metro website, he said: ‘PSG are not rich enough to be able to make us an offer that will make us take a step back.’
