Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal has urged his fellow countryman Alexis Sanchez to join him in Germany this summer.
Sanchez has just a year left on his contract and it seems almost certain that he will leave the Gunners, probably for either Bayern or Man City.
Vidal believes that Bayern Munich will improve if Sanchez leaves North London for the German Champions, which is probably an accurate statement.
Speaking at the Confederations Cup in Russia, Vidal told German newspaper Bild.
“We’ll see if Alexis is coming. I do not know yet,”
“I know him very well. He is a spectacular player. And with him, we would surely improve.
“We already have a lot of top-level players. We are the best club in the world.”
Sanchez scored 24 Premier League goals for Arsenal last season but it was not enough to help Arsenal qualify for the Champions League, a failure that has probably confirmed to the 28-year old that he needs to leave Arsenal sooner rather than later.
It was always likely that Vidal would try and persuade Sanchez to join him in Germany, they are close friends and will no doubt be talking while on international duty, something that Arsene Wenger probably feared.
Wenger has been insistent that Sanchez would remain at the Emirates, but the signs are that Frenchman is kidding himself and that the Chilean maestro will be departing very soon.
