News coming out of Spain is claiming that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is set to offload at least five players in the winter transfer window.
Three of the players are on the fringes of the Madrid squad, Lucas Vazquez, Borja Mayoral and Marco Llorente, however, the two that catch the eye are Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.
Arsenal are keen on Benzema but their recent £40 million offer was dismissed out of hand by the Spanish giants but that does not mean that a deal will not be agreed in January.
Tottenham and Man Utd are both very interested in Bale, especially Spurs who have the first option on their former player.
Madrid will obviously be determined to get top dollar for their players but the fact that it is now in the public domain that they are eager sellers weakens their negotiating position, something that the English trio will be keen to take advantage of.
There is now a good chance that either Benzema or Bale will be playing in the Premier League this season.
