Real Madrid prepared to upset their own superstar in pursuit of Chelsea ace
Reports from Spain claim the Real Madrid will not consider Cristiano Ronaldo’s feeling when they move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
Hazard is Real’s number one target this summer, and the club would break the transfer record to sign the attacker.
Reports earlier claimed that Real Madrid have cooled their interest in Hazard because they do not want to upset Ronaldo.
The Portuguese wizard feels that Hazard signing for a fee that could possibly be greater than his would make him inferior to the Belgian. But, Zinedine Zidane and club president Florentino Perez are said to care less about the Portuguese’ feeling.
Hazard has been in inspiring form for the Blues this season, and is almost winning the Premier League for them. He has scored 14 goals and provided his team mates with 6 more goals.
Chelsea are keen on keeping him at Stanford Bridge, and have reportedly offered him a new deal worth £300,000 per week to try and persuade him to snub Real Madrid.
Hazard has not spoken about his future, but reports claim he would love to play for Real Madrid at some point in his career.
