Reports have claimed Liverpool are ready to open talks with Barcelona over a £25million deal to sign their want-away winger Pedro in January.
Premier League rivals Arsenal came close to bagging Pedro in the summer, only for the transfer to collapse at the last-minute, and they ended up signing Alexis Sanchez instead.
However, the January Window is expected to be a busy one for the Gunners and they are reportedly ready to swoop in and try again.
However, the Daily Mirror website now says that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to swoop in and try to take him to Merseyside.
He is also happy to meet the £25million asking price for the winger, and believes an agreement can be found quickly to sign Pedro.
