Rodgers sends Liverpool men to Spain as £21.7 million rated Spaniard to sign up

Liverpool have reportedly sent officials to Spain in order to complete the £21.7million transfer of Real Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez, according to the Metro website.

The Reds are in the market for a new defender this summer as there has been talk that Martin Skrtel is set for a summer move to Inter Milan, and they believe the highly-rated Spaniard is the perfect acquisition.

The 23-year-old has a £21.7m buyout clause and Liverpool consider that price to be a bargain. © 2017 Frontier Theme
