Rodgers to make shock Liverpool move and steal £20 million man from under Newcastle’s noses

Liverpool will make a shock bid to hijack Newcastle’s move for Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin, according to The Sun.

Austin is not believed to be a primary transfer target for Liverpool this summer, but manager Brendan Rodgers is still weighing up a move for the striker.

Austin, who was widely expected to make the switch to St James’ Park this summer, has since stalled on his exit from Rangers following Liverpool’s reported interest.
