England manager Roy Hodgson has praised Man City keeper following his recent England performances and declared the England number one to be one of the best keepers around.
Hart has kept six clean sheets for England and City this season and is being discussed as one of the very best, something Hodgson is fully aware of
“I’m in that situation a little bit with Joe, comparing him to all those other fine keepers,” Hodgson said.
“Of course I think he’s terrific. I’m really pleased for him. If you ask me, of course I’ll say that (he’s the best) but I think it’s a little bit meaningless while we are working with the player because we’re bound to have that view.
“If you really wanted a serious debate as to who is the best one then you’d have to involve some serious neutrals.
“Comparisons are difficult, but I’d like to think (he is there).”
Bit of a turn around for Hart, only a couple of seasons ago he was in danger of losing both is England and City place, but he has bounced back in magnificent style and deserves all the plaudits.
