Reports have revealed that Thierry Henry has secured a return to Arsenal after being handed a role coaching kids in the Gunners’ academy, according to the Daily Mail website.
Henry, who retired from football before Christmas, signed a £4million-a-year punditry deal with Sky Sports shortly after.
But he has always made it clear he wants to be a manager, and now reports say Arsenal have given him a role coaching their stars of the future.
The Frenchman has already taken coaching sessions with various age groups at the club’s youth base.
Henry is working towards securing his UEFA ‘A’ and ‘B’ coaching qualifications – and his experience with Arsenal’s youth teams will provide the 37-year-old with valuable hands-on training.
