Signed and sealed as Chief confirms superstar has made Man United move

Bastian Schweinsteiger’s transfer from Bayern Munich to Manchester United has been confirmed by chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

At a Bayern press conference held on Saturday, Rummenigge revealed that the club had reached an agreement with United, and had granted Schweinsteiger’s wish for a new challenge.

‘Schweinsteiger came to the conclusion that he wants a new challenge. We tried to make him stay, but we understand his wish.’ he said on the Sky Sports website.
