Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger has indicated that the Gunners would be heavily involved in this summer’s transfer window.
Arsenal have some underlying issues with their playing staff and the revitalisation of the club’s roster is imminent.
After the recent run of poor result that saw the Gunners humiliated out of the Champions League, the Frenchman does not need to be told that he needs to rebuild his battered squad to save his reputation.
There has been concerns about the quality of players that will be left at the Emirates next season after the likely departure of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
Arsenal splashed the cash on some quality players like Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi last summer, but both players have failed to meet up to high expectations placed on them by the club’s fans.
The major concern for the Gunners is the refusal of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut ozil to sign new deals.
If any or both players leave, it would leave a big gap behind in the club.
Wenger intimated that despite his current players being capable of winning trophies, it was important that they strengthen. That is the major reason why they would be very active in the summer’s transfer window.
