Chelsea could hand Eden Hazard his first start of the season when they play Nottingham Forest on Wednesday. The Belgian has not played for the Blues this season after injuring his ankle during the summer. He has however stepped up recovery and made a 20-minute appearance against Arsenal on Sunday.
After the game against the Gunners, Antonio Conte expressed delight at the opportunity to pick the Belgian again and also discussed the possibility of him featuring from the start against Forest.
Hazard has been one of the most important Chelsea players since he joined the Blues in the summer of 2012 helping them win two Premier League titles. He was linked with a move to Real Madrid over the summer, but his injury setback saw the Spaniards abandon their pursuit of his signature.
The Belgian has talked of his dream of winning the Champions League someday and would be looking to help the Blues win another European Cup.
Meanwhile, Pedro is set for a lengthy period away from the Blues after picking up an injury on Sunday. The Spanish attacker picked up what appears to be an ankle injury, although the extent of the injury is yet to be ascertained, the Blues fear he may be out for a long period of time.
