Fatigue, and injuries are real concerns for managers when their players go for international breaks.
With three of Chelsea’s players ruled out of action for their country during the international break with different knocks, the coach and fans alike must have be fearing the worst.
However, there is no cause for alarm as the trio of Costa, Hazard, and Courtois who were expected to miss Chelsea’s next game after suffering knocks while on duty for their countries, have been cleared to play.
Costa missed Spain’s match on Tuesday having suffered a knock in training. He has been x-rayed and cleared by his medical examiners to feature in Saturday’s game against Sam Alladyce men.
Hazard missed Belgium’s game against Greece on Saturday because of a calf complaint and has since returned to Chelsea to regain full fitness. While his compatriot, Courtois was injured in that game and missed Tuesday clash with Russia.
This would be sweet music to ears of Antonio Conte who would be happy to have his key men fit as Chelsea chase their second title in three years.
