Some mixed news for Tottenham fans on the injury front
Tottenham star, Erik Lamela has had a successful operation done on his hip to address the mystery injury that has has reduced his contribution on the field this season.
The Argentine has not played for Tottenham since October’s league cup clash against Liverpool at Anfield.
At first it seem like a minor injury, but with time the club and player came to understand that it was a major injury that needed special care. The club and player finally agreed that he would need to undergo major surgery to correct the problem.
Lamela confirmed that he had gone through with the operation and that it was a success as he begins his long road back to recovery. He went through the surgical procedure on Saturday and will miss the rest of the season, as his club had originally predicted.
In other development, Harry winks is also set for a spell on the sidelines, after been stretched off in the win over Burnley. Victor Wanyama who also could not finish the game because of injury will have to face a late fitness test to determine if he can feature in their next league game on Wednesday.
