Barcelona candidate Joan Laporte has claimed that Juventus want to sell Manchester United target Paul Pogba.
Pogba has become one of world football’s most sought after players following an impressive season with the Old Lady, who recorded a domestic double and reached the Champions League final.
And according to Laporta, the Old Lady want to cash in on their prized asset.
“All I said is that I have an excellent rapport with (Pogba’s agent Mino) Raiola,” noted Laporta on the Sky Sports website.
“I don’t think Juventus will do anything until there is a new President in charge of Barcelona. We will talk to the Italian club, but until there’s a new President they won’t want to discuss the matter.
“This is a clue that Juventus want to sell, if what they say is true. I don’t think they will get together with us until after July 19.”
