Liverpool are reportedly closing in on a deal for £28 million rated striker Mauro Icardi.
The Inter Milan striker has been tipped to be the ‘new Ronaldo’, and is valued at £28m by his club.
Brendan Rodgers has been heavily linked with a move for a while, as he looks to fill the void left by Luis Suarez.
And amid all the talk of a move, Icardi’s former coach Jesus Hernandez tipped Icardi to shine in England.
As quoted on the Daily Star website, Hernandez said: “If Icardi played in Spain or England, where he is likely to go, he would be a star.
“He will become one. He has the talent to be the new Ronaldo. You’ll see.”
