There has been some astonishing reports which have claimed Barcelona and Spanish legend Andreas Iniesta has hinted he may be open to a sensational move to Manchester City this summer.
The technically brilliant midfielder is rated as one of the best players in the game, but has, like so many of his team-mates, failed to impress on too many occasions this season and has not picked up any silverware.
Barca boss Gerardo Martino announced he was stepping down as coach, with Luis Enrique set to replace the Chilean at the Camp Nou, and Iniesta has fuelled talk he may also be considering his own future after losing to the La Liga title to Atletico Madrid at the weekend.
As quoted on the Daily Express website, he said:”We were relying on winning this game.
“We haven’t and that makes this season disappointing, because if we had won, everything would be different.
“The season is over, lots of things are over.”
