CSKA Moscow are putting in-demand Manchester United target and defender Mario Fernandez up for sale.
The talented defender has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates in recent weeks as Louis Van Gaal looks to solve his defensive issues during the January transfer window.
Now the Izvestia website says that the Red Devils have been approached and asked for tickets from CSKA for their scouts to attend Russian Premier League games in the coming weeks.
CSKA sports director Oleg Yarovinsky confirmed: “CSKA are always ready to consider interesting proposals, but at the moment the offers the serious European clubs have made to us for Fernandez did not appeal.”
Fernandez joined CSKA two years ago from Gremio for €10.5 million.
