Tottenham is about to get busy in the transfer market as they eye a deal for young Estudiantes defender, Juan Foyth.
The youngster starred for Argentina at the just concluded FIFA Under-20 world cup and attracted the attention of Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine manager has not made any summer signing yet as they Lillywhites prepare for the new season which would see them compete in the Champions League for the second consecutive season.
Foyth‘s agent is former Manchester United midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron, and he has reportedly travelled to London to discuss the potential transfer of his client to the Premier League runners-up.
The 19 years old has already rejected advances from AS Roma and Russia. Speaking about a move to Eastern Europe, Foyth said he was personally not interested in moving to Russia, and would only move there if the economic side of the contract is too good to turn down.
He was also reportedly a subject of interest from Serie A runners-up Roma but appears to favour a move to the Premiership.
