Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford is keen to extend his stay with Middlesbrough, according to the Evening Gazette.
The England Under-21 international has scored five times in 13 appearances for the Teessiders.
However, he is keen to stay at Middlesbrough until the end of the season, as he knows his game time will be limited if he returns to Chelsea.
Bamford said: “At the moment, I’m only here until the New Year, but I’m keen to stay. I like it here, I like the manager.
“He believes in me, which is important, so I don’t think there’s any reason for me to go back.
“I’ve played all along the frontline, but I don’t mind that. I’ve played all those roles so far in my career and I’m comfortable in all of them.”
