Striker on way to Man United as Van Gaal gives exciting star big chance

Reports have claimed Manchester United are considering taking a punt on Southport’s Drew Lewis, according to the Daily Mirror website.

Lewis has banged in 37 goals for the Conference outfit’s under-21s side this season and has attracted the attention of United’s scouting team.

Everton and Liverpool are also thought to be interested in the youngster but United have made the first move.

Lewis’ goals have come in just 20 games in all competitions.
