The chances of Arsenal ace moving to France grow by the day
Reports from France claims that Olympique Marsielle coach, Rudi Garcia has made contact with Arsenal striker, Olivier Giroud.
Giroud started this season as the second choice striker, and was a substitute in most of the Gunner’s match day squad, as Arsene Wenger preferred Alexis Sanchez to the Frenchman, however, Giroud has played his way back into reckoning and is now a regular starter at the club.
But this has not deterred Marseille in their pursuit of the striker.
Marseille have cash to burn and are ready to splash cash on their summer targets. The signing of Dimitri Payet during the January transfer window was a clear indication that the club would stop at nothing to get to the top of the French League and bring back their glory days.
Giroud who is 30, has stated that he does not see his short term future away from England. According to him, he may consider a move to France someday, but in the meantime, his mind is on playing in the Premiership.
