Reports from Italy are claiming that Chelsea’s bid to sign Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi, has been boosted. Per the source, the player has stalled on signing a new contract, and is willing to move away from the club this summer.
Antonio Conte is an admirer of the winger, and has been getting scouting reports from Italy about the player throughout this season.
The Blues are not the only team looking to sign the player as Italian giants, Juventus and Inter Milan are also keen, however, both the player and his club do not favour a move to Juventus. A move to Inter Milan is more likely, but Chelsea look to be in the driving seat because Inter can only offer half the salary that the Blues can offer the winger.
Chelsea are ready to offer him a weekly pay of £80,000, an amount that Inter Milan and Fiorentina would be unwilling to pay at the moment.
The Blues want him to give them more options in attack so that they can easily change tactics when the need arises next season.
