Santi Cazorla has revealed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger convinced him to join the north London side, according to the Daily Mirror website.
Critics may suggest Wenger would have been playing it fast and loose with the promise of a ‘chance’ of a title at the Emirates Stadium but Cazorla is delighted he has been able to work with the ‘special’ coach.
He said:”Wenger is a big coach. I am at Arsenal because he convinced me he could improve my game and give me a chance of winning the Premier League. I am happy with my experience at Arsenal and that’s true.
“I have worked with good coaches in my career and Wenger is special.
“He’s very demanding, even when we win, and always wants the team to play a good game. His big virtue is the way he gives confidence to young players.”
